The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Unit Manager to lead the Physical Infrastructure Business Unit within our Emerging Markets Asia Pacific Area. ?Reporting to the Area Manager ? Asia Pacific you will play an integral role in successfully managing the Business Units P&L, whilst driving business development activities with energy and managing a team of skilled professionals located in countries across the Asia Pacific. You will be part of a cohesive management team of Business Unit managers under the Asia Pacific Area with shared accountability to achieve key financial targets and strategic goals.

The position will be based in one of our Head Office locations in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney however, it is expected that you will be available to travel frequently both domestically and internationally.?

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years? experience in all aspects of International Development Assistance within the field of Urban Infrastructure. You will have proven experience in managing and motivating multidisciplinary teams including development country partner firms. It is essential that you have experience in sourcing and negotiating international contracts whilst having experience in participation and preferred management of international infrastructure projects funded by international lending agencies and/or donors.

Qualifications and Experience
>? Civil Engineering degree, with a minimum of 10 ?years? experience in Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
>??10 years? experience in International Development ?Assistance
>??Proven experience with international donors in successfully winning and managing business to a high level of client satisfaction
>??Experience working in countries in the Asia/Pacific region
>??Strong people management skills to lead a global and successful team
>??Hands on work experience in project development and delivery in developing countries
>??An ability to support and facilitate the provision of technical assistance? for all projects
>??An ability to support and mobilize required resources, investments and assistance for all projects ensuring achievement of measurable impact and results
>?? An ability to manage a P&L and other corporate requirements
